Started with Hindustan Unilever in 1993. After the first 10- years at HUL, the next 10-years were in Telecom at Nokia and Reliance, and thereafter 7 years in Fashion Retail company Raymond. In early 2020, co-founded a Real time data science company, Nextqore, HQ in US, with offices in Mumbai, Amsterdam, and Sydney.

Currently the CEO & Executive Director of Greaves Electric Mobility (GEM), leading the mandate to provide access of electric mobility solutions to millions of individuals with affordable 2W & 3W electric vehicles and create a disruptively cleaner, affordable, convenient, and safer way for human and cargo mobility on the planet.  In addition to the current roles at GEM, Nextqore, Obeetee and multiple other Industry platforms - advising and mentoring many entrepreneurs in Fashion, Lifestyle & Technology space. Added new skills in areas of Data Science, Digital Technology and Performance Marketing over the last 2 years.

A proven track record of delivering disruptively profitable & sustainable high growth across industries. Built many businesses and brands, multiple times over from Ground Zero. Also, managed and transformed many large, established and complex businesses. Has a strong expertise in leading teams of diverse skill sets, experience, scale, structures, locations, cultures and nationalities. Mr. Narayanan was appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé India in August 2015 and is on the Board of Directors of Nestlé India Limited. He also serves as the Chairman of CII National Committee on Food processing Industries. He is an Independent Director on the Board of Asian Paints Limited and in the Board of Governors of the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI). Under Mr. Narayanan’s leadership, Nestlé India has been recognized by several media houses and industry forums. The organization was recognized as ‘MNC in India of the year’ in 2022 by All India Management Association. In 2021 he featured amongst the Top 101 Male Gender Equality Champions Globally. In the same year, Nestlé India was conferred Outstanding Company of the year by CNBC TV18 India Business Leader Awards (IBLA). In 2020 Business Standard awarded Nestlé India as the MNC of the year, while Business World recognized Nestlé India for Best Financial Performance in the MNC Category and bestowed ‘Purpose and Resilience’. He was conferred CNBC-AWAAZ Best Performing Leader for the MNC category in 2020. He was also honored as the Entrepreneurial CEO at EY Entrepreneur of The Year™ 2020. Business Today awarded him “Best CEO – FMCG” for two years consecutively in 2019 and 2020. He was recognized among the “Most Valuable CEOs” in 2019 by Business World. Under his leadership, Nestlé India won the “Best Governed Company Award for 2018” by Asian Centre for Corporate Governance & Sustainability. Mr. Narayanan was honoured as the Best CEO at Forbes India Leadership Awards 2017 in the Multinational category.Most recently, he was a member of the Effies Global “Best of the Best” Grand Jury which took place in September 2023 in Singapore – in this role along with the other Global Grand Judges, he reviewed the Grand contenders selected to move forward in the competition to determine the Global Grand Effie Winners.

Mr. Narayanan began his career as a Management Trainee with Hindustan Unilever, where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in Sales, Marketing and General Management.  He has also worked with Colgate Palmolive in India.

Mr. Narayanan joined Nestlé in 1999 as Executive Vice President for Sales in India. His international career commenced from Nestlé Indochina in 2003, and he has also served in Philippines, Singapore, Egypt and NEAR (North East Africa Region).

He is an alumnus of the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce and Delhi School of Economics from where he completed his MA in Economics. Mr. Narayanan has also participated in the Nestlé Leadership Program of the London Business School.He has delivered talks at NASSCOM forums, various Corporates, NUS School of Business-Singapore, American University-Cairo, Columbia University, Army War College Mhow, Naval War College-Goa, and Business Schools such as IIM’s, ISB, and others in India.

Avijit joined The Tata Group in 1996 as a TAS Officer in Tata Administrative Services and has worked on various assignments in the areas of automotive and financial services.

Currently Avijit is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Tata Capital. As CHRO, Avijit oversees all aspects of People Management, Infrastructure & Administration, Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Avijit was the founding CEO of Tata Cleantech Capital Limited (TCCL), a joint venture between Tata Capital Limited and The International Finance Corporation, Washington from 2012-2015. TCCL is a specialized lender for Renewable Energy Projects, Water Management Projects and Energy Efficiency Projects. Prior to TCCL, he was the founding CEO of Tata Securities Limited (TSL) from 2007 to 2012. The primary businesses of TSL are Equity Broking, Investment Banking and Distribution. Both TCCL and TSL are subsidiaries of Tata Capital Ltd. of which Avijit was one of the founding members.

Prior to Tata Capital, Avijit worked with Tata Motors Ltd, the leading automobile manufacturer of India, from 2003 to 2007 in the Passenger Car Business and Corporate Finance. From 2003-2005, he was Head - Systems & Process and Business Excellence for the Passenger Car Business (PCBU) and Engineering Research Center (ERC) and was a member of the office of the Executive Director - PCBU & ERC. Thereafter Avijit moved to the office of Executive Director - Finance & Corporate Affairs as DGM - Corporate Affairs looking after Mergers and Acquisitions and Subsidiary Relationships.

As a TAS Officer, Avijit was involved in various assignments like the Launch of the Tata Indica, setting up of an online equity trading portal and retail broking business for Tata TD Waterhouse Securities and setting up of Concorde Motors, a captive car dealership chain.

Avijit is a B.Tech from IIT - Kanpur and MBA from IIM - Bangalore. He is a Fulbright Scholar, having undergone the Fulbright Program at the Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Avijit was recognized as a Young Leader by the British High Commission in 2013.

With 25 years of experience as an education and social activist, Farida Lambay co-founded Pratham in 1995 with Dr. Madhav Chavan.

She heads the Pratham Council for Vulnerable Children and is also responsible for Pratham’s direct programs in Mumbai and Gujarat. Ms. Lambay was recently appointed a member of the Maharashtra State Commission for the Protection of Child Rights and currently serves on the Government of India Committee on Child Labour & Research in Education where she has initiated national level policy changes.

A former vice principal of the Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work in Mumbai, Ms. Lambay has spearheaded initiatives such as Prerana (working for the rights of sex workers in Kamatipura, Mumbai) and YUVA (working on various social issues taking strength from the youth) as well as multiple disaster relief efforts.
